AZR 1000 S in detail
Applicable for
all AZR machines
Concave-ground circular knives turn up to 8 times before they are replaced. Different knife types match the shredder to your material.
001 Solid steel rotor shaft
The rotor shaft is machined from solid steel. The cutting gap between rotor and counterknife is adjustable on request, so the cut stays clean as the tools wear.
002 Constant hydraulic feed
A hydraulic pusher with diagonal feed moves material to the rotor at a steady rate. Gravity drops the chips in faster, so throughput stays predictable instead of surging.
003 Cardanically suspended cylinders
The hydraulic cylinders hang in cardanic joints. Side load never reaches the piston cup — which is exactly what shortens its service life on lesser machines.
004 Rotor Ø 354 mm for higher throughput
The AZR 1000 S runs the 354 mm rotor at 90 rpm. The larger diameter means a larger wrap angle, and the larger the wrap angle, the higher the throughput.
005 Two-way screen, 10 to 40 mm
The screen defines the chip size. Standard 15/20 mm; 10/12, 12/15, 20/25, 25/30 and 35/40 mm optional; special sizes on request.
006 Up to 75 circular knives
25, 50 or 75 knives depending on rotor version. The scissor cut of the concave-ground heads works with little force, and each knife turns up to 8 times before replacement.
007 Turbo clutch from 30 kW
Every drive option on the AZR 1000 S starts at 30 kW, so the turbo clutch is available across the range — it takes the shock out of start-up and out of a hard foreign body.
008 1.25 m³ large-capacity hopper
The 1,000 x 1,200 mm opening takes pallets and panel offcuts whole, and 1.25 m³ of hopper volume means fewer loading cycles per shift.
009 Security package
Gear end limit switch and reverse counter come as standard. The machine protects itself before it protects your production schedule.
010 Options to fit your line
Movable screen cage, 4-sided segmented floor with serrated plate and rail, delivery by conveyor screw, special hopper with cooling, PLC for fully automated operation.
